It's Time!!

We are doing the happy dance this week
in anticipation of the first of our "kids"....
kids, as in baby goats!

Wooooo Hoooooooo!
Sissy has reached her due date and should be giving
birth any time now.

She is on the inside looking out here
due to inclement weather.

We keep her in her birthing stall at night and also when it rains...
we can't have little newborn kids out in the rain, now, can we?

The births of new kids is truly amazing and exciting,
but the real fun begins in the days after the birth!

Lots of goatie lovin' and goatie snugglin',
goatie kisses
and goatie antics
will keep us occupied for months to come.

We'll have lots of happy photos to share with you over the coming weeks.

Want to hear all about this. Will be waiting with you.

I was wondering about your thoughts on keeping their horns. I know most people have them disbudded. Seems natural for them to have them. Have you ever had problems with the horns?
