Welcome December!

Yesterday was a day of showers...
most of us (critters included) stayed under cover and out of the rain...
except for performing the essential chores.
Outdoor pictures just didn't happen.
I didn't want to risk taking my new camera out in the rain.

So......

A day of showers gave me the opportunity to work
on our great room Christmas tree.
This tree is over 12 feet tall.
Sammy is sitting here showing you that he really can
be a good dog.

However, not when my back is turned.

He has successfully un-decorated the lower 2 feet
of this tree....
taking each ornament upstairs to the loft,
and sneakily chewing it up.

Bad Sammy!

This tree is the first of several that I will decorate in the farmhouse.

I will be sure to post each tree as I finish decorating it.

It's going to be a very busy month around the farmhouse!

Bev, your tree is wonderful! Lucky you to be able to put such a large, beautiful tree in your home. We still haven't gotten ours yet, maybe this or next weekend...

Can't wait to see all your trees. This one is spectacular!
Your tree is so big and full! Love it!

Sammy is a bad doggie. lol. You need the tattle tale that I posted about on my blog for cats. It also works for doggies and kids! :)

Oh my goodness, Beverly, your great room is beautiful with that tree in it. Too bad Sammy has such a liking of Christmas ornaments. The bottom 2 feet of your tree may just have to remain bald. ;-)

Hope you have a very blessed holiday season,
Susan @ CluckleBees
You will be very busy. How do you get the ornaments on top of your 12 ft. tree?
