Shape Shifting

The most amazing thing has happened here on the farm.
It happened last night,
by starlight, only...
no moon was in sight.
The old owl hooted in the nearby trees.

Our little Stella was touched by a bit of
midnight farm enchantment.

She magically morphed

into

skunk!

A white stripe magically appeared down the middle of her back!

Let me look a little bit closer....
Silly Stella,
that's frost on your back!

Well, it has been a bit nippy here lately.
Winter is soon upon us.
We've had several nights of heavy frost.

Dear Stella, you have a nice warm house to sleep in!
Maybe you should try that
instead of attempting to change yourself into a skunk!

Peee - uuuu, did somebody say skunk?

Poor Stella, won't come in out of the cold.
Your little buck is really the one that smells like a skunk, huh?

That's so funny...we have fainting goats too...and a "Rod Stewart" rooster as well named Tarzan (because when he crows, it sounds like a Tarzan call) who's always missing his tail feathers..just too funny.

She may look like a skunk but fortunately doesn't smell like one...My sisters dog got skunked last week causing a cancellation of her visit
