And The Winner is.....

"Mrs. Bake-It"

It's official....
we have six 6 roosters
amongst our 12 Ameraucana chickens.

Can you believe it?

I am so sorry it took this long to get the results...
unfortunately I could not hurry along the process.

Their combs had to grow.
The roos have combs.
The hens do not.

There were five of you who guessed six,
so we put your names in a hat....
and Hubbs randomly picked out....

"Mrs. Bake it"

Please email me with your address
and a special
Bee Haven Acres goodie package with 12 roosters in it
will be sent to you in the mail!!!

Wa Hooooooooo!
Don't you just love contests???

PS....I just bought another henhouse....
housing for the roos....
a bachelor pad, I guess.
These fellows will be free ranging around the farm....
the house will give them night time shelter.

Cool that they get their own bachelor pad. What type of henhouse did you buy.

Have a blessed weekend.

How fun! Why is there always such a high rooster ratio? Four of my six baby bantams turned out roos. They are so entertaining though - you are such a good flock keeper.

I cannot believe I won! How exciting! Hmmm. I wonder what my neighbors will think of me having six roosters! I have a feeling I would be reported to the City before day one was over! I love reading about all the adventures of your residents and see all the great photos of them and the farm.

Thank you so much!

Oh how funny, six! I guess it is the bachelor pad after all. Let's hope no water guns are needed for these boys! Gee and I thought my luck and roosters were bad. You win!!! Have a great labor Day weekend!

Wow - they're beautiful! (can I use that word for boys?) No, maybe I should say they're very handsome gents. Show us a picture of their new bachelor pad/frat house if you get a chance. I'd love to see where they will call home.

They are so handsome!! I have NO roosters at this point and now my neighbor is offering me as many male bantys that I might want! HAHA. I am actually thinking about it since they are so cute and lovable. Can you believe summer is over? What a summer it was too. Can't wait to hear from you about all the great stuff going on in your world!! XXOO
